Homemade Blueberry Jam

I am a blueberry lover! I tend to make blueberry pancakes pretty often and I also put them in my cereal sometimes for breakfast.
However, recently I purchased a bread machine and found that it has a jam cycle. I tried a few other jams first, then I tried it with blueberries. It was the best jam I have ever eaten! If one has a bread machine, I would definitely recommend making blueberry jam. It is real easy and the results are phenomenal!
One only needs three ingredients: blueberries, sugar, and liquid pectin. Use about two cups of blueberries. Make sure to wash them thoroughly. They can be cut into smaller pieces or crushed in a blender. I prefer the cut style because it tastes so good with chunks of blueberries in the jam. Add about 4 cups of sugar. This can be adjusted to taste of course and finally add one small pack of liquid pectin.
Put the bread machine on the jam cycle and let it run. Once the cycle has completed, carefully remove the hot liquid and place in jars. Let cool overnight in the refrigerator.
Finally, eat homemade blueberry jam! For an extra special treat, make homemade bread as well.
Remember, homemade bread + homemade blueberry jam = mmm yum yum!
