Blueberries are merry berries!

It was my first date when I got to taste blue berries. We were at a restaurant that served us a dessert with these small blue clusters of berries. IT was funny to watch, I mistook them to be dried and colored raisins. Then after I had a fill I was so involved in the flavor that I could not resist buying a bag of blueberries.

Later friends of mine who came from Australia told me that her grandmother had a small blueberry farm and that they would go picking for these berries. Her story interested me even the more and I wanted to explore.

I learnt that you could make jams and spreads with blue berries, I tried a few on my own and the tasted like a piece of heaven. After I learnt that blueberries are rich in antioxidants that fight aging I put a hand full of them in anything they compliment.

I take blueberries with pancakes and honey, or just add then to cakes when ever I bake some at home. I’ve tried a triple berry tart that was suggested by Quaker oats on the carton of the pack that I purchased. It was too good and I hardly got a second bite myself.
